AFD 22 is one of the cars that going to be auctioned off. Kereta ni pak cik ak pakai in his' capacity as the state legal adviser. He was told to surrender the car to the SUK by this tuesday. In turn die akan dapat balik the rickety,old Perdana car that mamak tongkang suke sangat.

I doubt lah that that mamak tongkang guy will use the Perdana. Surely he'll use his other,foreign car kn?Hypocrisy at its best.

"The battle box was the underground bomb-proof bunker of Britain's Malaya Command HQ during World War Two. Situated 9 meters beneath Fort Canning Hill, it was also the site were General Percival reached the fateful decision to surrender Singapore to the invading Imperial Japanese Army on the 15th February 1942"

Aku and Aizat pun tau lah tentang kewujudan this particular bunker through Mat. Die tau aku ngan adik aku suka benda2 historical ni so die suggested that we go to this place to "suka history some more" - Itu ape yang Mat cakap lah. lol

Tapi my lawyer cousin nih cakap kt kami on our last night ever in Singapore. Agak useless kan? Might as well keep it to yourself Mat. Ma surely wont let us go to that place. alone. But we decided to try our luck the next morning over breakfast to ask them "boleh tak kami pegi?"

Suprisingly, diorang bagi. Tapi there's a catch. Well there are two actually. Kene ikot dorang naik HippoBus(Tour of Singapore) at 10am. Oke. Fine. Then, Kene balik kat hotel before 3pm. Sebab nak gerak airport pukul 4pm naik FREE SHUTTLE VAN TO THE AIRPORT. Oke then. Tapi HippoBus finished up at 12pm,which left us less than 3hr to explore the box.

By the way, mase tour 1jam tersebut, it was drizzling all the time. So tak dapat dok kat upper deck.Therically lah.Tapi despite repeated warnings, Aizat, Mat, Aku and other tourists duduk kat atas.

Senang je nak pegi Fort Canning from our hotel in Arab Street. Lagipun Singapore kan covered in MRT lines. You can go almost anywhere in Singapore using the MRT. In our case, we got onto the train at 11:30at EW12 Bugis Station to get to EW13 City Hall Interchange. From EW13 kitaorang ambik the North South train to NS24 Dhoby Ghaut.

The thing is, those MRTs are very2 puntual and diorang ada every 4 mins.so korang tak payah nak time korang nye daily schedule around the the train timetables like in Malaysia.

Green Line is EW. Red Line is NS. Purple is NE. The point where the NS and NE line meets is the NS24 Dhoby Ghaut Interchange.

After reaching NS24 around 12pm, we made our way through exit B which led us to Park Mall. Fort Canning/Battle Box kat blakang Park Mall je.haha. Ak ngan aizat pun walked up lah to the ticketing office only to be greeted with a "CLOSE.BE BACK AT 1PM".

So we went exploring the place out. It was quite big. With keramats, pagodas, spice gardens, gothic arches all scattered around the bunker. The was a reservoir located north of the bunker, but it was off limit to civilians because it is still in use. To find out more about the things listed above?Go Google them

Tengok2 dah pukul satu. Ak and aizat pun jalan lah pegi front desk die. When we arrived there we found out dah banyak orang kat sane, mostly cacausians, all waiting to beli their tickets or "Regulation Security Pass".

Bila the guy finally opened the front door, sume serbu masuk. Inside ade 3 row of chairs with a LCD TV infront. Then ble dah penuh,die tutup semua lampu and suruh tengok TV 2.

"For a price of S$5 for children and S$8 for adults, visitors can attend a guided tour of the location. The tickets are designed to look like security passes issued during the Second World War.

The tour begins with the screening of a historical-style video about the events leading up to the Japanese invasion of Singapore, held in the ticketing office pictured above. From there, visitors are led by the tour guide to the actual bunker located about a hundred metres away from the ticketing office. A wax figure of a British soldier, one of many in the bunker, points the way.

The underground bunker has been refurbished with an air-conditioning system installed, though with the historical value still greatly preserved. Besides a tour guide, the tour is also facilitated by an audio tour program. Wireless headsets are issued to the participants. The headsets can be set to seven different languages.

The participants are lead to the switchboard room, which was the communications centre during the time. Notes scrawled in chalk are still faintly visible on the bunker door. Participants are then treated to an audio presentation through their headsets, with a synchronised animatronics display (the animatronic switchboard operator plugs and unplugs switches).

Next on the tour are the rooms where the other communications methods such as morse code and telegram are used. Through individual viewing posts, participants watch a short video presentation showing the operators hard at work, accompanied by another audio track.

Next, actual Japanese script written by the soldiers, with translation texts pasted above, are displayed.

After that, participants visit General Percival's actual office(Gambar 1). A meeting between him and Simmons is in progress. The impending surrender is the topic. The two are actually animatronic figures whose mouth movements are synchronised with the audio tour segment.

A planning room with a simulated military strategy table and maps pasted on the walls follows(Gambar 2). This was where the British would plan sea and air operations around the Asia-Pacific area. Wall charts depict developments in other parts of the world at that time.

The last room is the bunker where the final decision to surrender unconditionally to the Japanese was made(Gambar 3). The crucial final command conference is portrayed as accurately as possible. Wax figures of Percival, and all the major officials with him at the time, are combined with a video presentation projected behind Percival's wax figure.

The tour ends, and participants are free to explore the small museum(Gambar 4) and the gift shop at the end of the underground bunker."

school's out.for good.

"omg.skolah habis.somebody slap me!"

"skolah habis!yay!good riddance"

ini adalah antara salah satu dialog yang kedengaran sewaltu paper LK habis 5pm tadi. ada yang seperti tidak percaya, ada yang menangis, ada yang gelak mengilai mcam hantu (lol/nik haris), and pelbagai aneka reaksi lagi.

adam bakar mercun.ika/azfar suruh sign board LK mereka. aniz terus balik rumah sebab nak mengsasau dengan tya,nadiah,adillah and munirah. haha. ye lah. spm dah habis. sape tak happy. tak payah pegi skolah. tak payah gosok baju,basuh kasut etc etc anymore, tak payah tunggu T602 kul 6am,tak payah buat homework...heh.the list are endless.

tapi dengan tamatnya sesi persekolahan selama 11 tahun(12 tahun for some), we cease to lead a carefree life that we have grown so used to. 11 tahun tu best. all play with a bit work. no big, life-changing decisions to be made. 11 tahun. pergh. 1997-2008 bukan sekejap. in that time frame, byk benda dh jadi. Swissair/Sabena went bust in 2001 due to 9/11, the invasion of iraq in 2003, kita mula ada perasaan towards the other sex, mula melancap, start to mindlessly copying western artists, jadi lagi tinggi. banyak lagi lah. 11 tahun ni, indirectly and directly, hd moulded us into the person we're today,esok lusa, and the future.

time keluar dewan exam tadi, ak rase semacam. this semacam cannot be described by anything. while everyone else proceeded to the holding rooms, i went my former home base, 5SC3. ak dok situ for a while and ingat balik everything that ever happened to me in my 11 years of schooling. korang maybe ingat lagi pasal cikgu brenda low "i see u in court" waay back in 2003.dah la.ckp lebih2 nanti emo lak.

would like to type more, but not in the mood to do so. im close to breaking down dah now.its better i stop here.

I was actually taken aback when someone (a chinese lad) asked me this question. Ape yang best pasal raya?I told him, half-jokingly that raya is a season for children and teenagers alike 'taxing' people out of their money. Raya best because of the foods. Raya best because we get to travel a lot.Raya best because we can visit each other...just my 2 cent la. On a more serious note, raya is a season where we can enjoy ourself (as mandated by Allah in the Quran) after a month fighthing our nafsus from sun rise to sunset. It is also a season where we can catch up with our friends, strenghthen the 'hubungan silaturrahim' among friends and families and main mercun.haha. "I hope this will give you a glimpse of hari raya" i heard myself telling him, although im not sure la whether this is the correct view on raya. After all this is just my 2 sen meh.

Who gives a damn about 2 sen nowadays. Sungguh ignorant mereka itu. Dont they knw that every 1 sen increase in the world's fuel price can throw people's life into economic uncertainty? This will make life hard for most people who are barely coping with the ever-high inflation that every country is experiencing. There are less foods on the table for iftar this year than last year. The collaspe of Leehman Brothers earlier last week is not helping either. Will all this economic downturn, how can one celebrate a grand hari raya?

Is not possible dah for this year's raya for most people(incld my family). Harga baju melayu dah naik. Kuih2,and basic comodities..heh..tak payah cakap la..naik mcam roller coaster. Langsir rumah aku dah 3 tahun tak tukar.haha. Tapi...satu benda je tak naik. Duit Raya. Minyak naik USD150/barrel ke..turun sampai USD80/barrel ke..remains unchanged. Why?

cikgu..cikgu(lk and addmaths too!)

haa..its been a while since i posted a blog. dah berabuk dah blogdrive ak.haha.

since everyone nowadays are attacking teachers for the slightest "mistakes" they did, i nk jump sekali lah into the bandwagon.haha. im neutral ; not on the teacher's side or the parents'.

actually i dont blame the teachers for using "kekerasan" to straighten up their students.it is not like im with them on using kekerasan. pelajar2 nowadays thinks they're above the law; just becasue makpak mereka are datuks/datins and the like, they think they can do what their heart wants.

the problem is, when those underpaid,overworked gov.school teachers uses kekerasan towards their "PSTM" children, they are accused of being evil, violent and even sadistic by the parents. teachers are human being too. try being in their shoes for a day and feels what they have to go through everyday.

kids nowadays (incld me) are getting more mengada-gada.and the parents plak terlampau caring and trusts their children and as such, they spare their children from the rod, thinking only evil parents whack their children. eh tolong la. even my parents whack me and my bros when we do something wrong. bak kata pepatah inggeris " spare the rod and spoil the child".

would like to write more but not in the mood to continue.haha

in an unrelated topic, ak kene buat folio addmaths and kertas kerja LK. dua-dua dah siap. good riddance!

laptop ak ngan laptop faris @ khulafa bistro sec 7. for sure his laptop is more expensive than mine lol. time nih buat addmaths. satu hari plus mengadap computer,even skipping class on that day just to siapkan that thing.

LK!Lukisan Kejuruteraan!chandra,yeoh,noraini and kika all concentrating on their paper. in the foreground korang leh nampak paper ak. time nih semua orang tgh buat balik kerja mereka coz that farking mustard hamidon x puas hati ngan our work and then semua org kene buat balik la.shyte.

pape pun, LK dh siap,so does addmaths and chem peka. 3 down 1 more to go:PAFA.
